Happenings at Hosanna Lutheran Church

Nancy is the team leader for Stewardship on the Hosanna Church Council. This is the logo for the theme adopted for 2009. All of the people shown in the logo are current Hosanna members, including our pastor, Rev. John Boldt.

Events at the Library in 2008

After a peformance of the musical
based on the book "Pinkalicious", children had a "pink" tea party. The Barbara Bush Library Friends sold children's books at the event.

About 3,000 third graders in 150 classes visited the art museum, performing art center, and library on an "Art Day" field trip. We had a scavenger hunt for them.

Author Anita Bunkley (front, left) read from her work at the African American Read-In on February 1.

The next day, see the tree coming through that window???

Vic surveys the damage.
All yards looked like this.

Visits to the Outdoors

We love the outdoors in Houston, and are lucky to live near some beautiful places. Our dog, Holley, is overjoyed to accompany us whenever we are willing.
On the beach at Galveston.

The Agafitei Journal

Hi! We created this online journal in December of 2008 in the midst of the financial crisis, so that we can share pictures and thoughts and ideas with our friends and family in a cost-effective way. What could be better than FREE!

We hope you will enjoy following our journey, and will leave us comments to know you visited.
Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for 2009!
